Best Chendol

Best Chendol in town!

I got this chendol for my dessert during my dinner at Red Chopstick. Everytime after I took their chendol, I feel PUAS! Puas hati satisfied I mean.

It is because their chendol are always so 'chendolish' :D I don't know how to describe, but everytime when I taste other chendols, the green slimy thing just taste the same as any other jelly or agar-agar.

This is different, the chendol actually got taste, and smell one. According to the shop, it is made of 100% pandan water, this explains how the chendol can taste do nice.

Served along with thick santan or coconut milk, together with jackfruit, top with gula melaka, makes a nice bowl of chendol. This is not those typical chendol you get in Penang, where the santan/coconut milk is a lot like soup. This is more to Melaka style, but I can't find a shop in Melaka selling better chendol than this.

No wonder Penang is called the food paradise, and that's more reason for me to gain weight everytime I am back here in Penang. Blek.

My buddy left for UK

Woke up at 5.25am this morning! For what? To send weimen away to Bangkok UK lah! He so syiok can go twinning at UK for 3 months to get his degree. Poor weimen have to wait for about 9 hours in Bangkok airport for transit flight to UK.

Fetched SLKJ and EngYong, reached airport at about 6am, then start looking for weimen. Woah the airport at this early got so much people already. It was super pack over there, everywhere was full of people, but mostly locals.
Have a chat with weimen's parents, aunty said that we didn't grow old at all, like time never changes. Hahaa I knew I took good care of my 'aging' matters mar! :D

After aunty and uncle went back, we move nearer to the departure hall and kap siao over there. SLKJ ordered titbits from UK, I ordered either Playboy magazine, or a LV card holder (ORIGINAL). Ya wad, we woke up so early just to send him off, he should in return buy us something right! Hehee

Heroes Finale

Just got to collect the Heroes Season 1 finale from AhChung, wah wah wah so damn suka!

Search on the net and found out that season 2 will be having a totally different story. There will be new heroes, and new bad guys, also some favourite character from Season 1.

After watching Heroes 1, some questions marks popped out from my head.

Did Sylar really died? Isn't the blood trail to the drain at the end of the show his? Meaning that he didn't die ar?
Why didn't Peter flew up and blow himself up, instead Nathan was dead because of this.
After Peter blew up, can he regenerate himself?
Why is Linderman unable to 'heal' himself?
What's Peter's mum's ability?

Lol so many questions, can't wait for the next season. Can't find the airing date for the next season. Anyone knows?

This morning when went to collect the show, sun bian went for a swim. Wanna burn off fats mar! Going Perhentian in 2 weeks time and there are still tonnes of fat sticked on my body. I need to lose fats real FAST !!

Floral Fest

Today my relatives from Ipoh came to visit, so we brought them to the Botanical Garden as there's this Floral Festival on function over there. Though there are lots of flowers over there, it didn't turn out as nice as I thought.

The weather was humid, and it's just after rain when we arrived. Can be expected I am half wet after the whole walking.

Well we went in to the Botanical Garden thinking there would be flowers all around the tracks nicely decorated or so, mana tau it's as usual tourist feeding monkey there.

Turn out to the Floral Enclave Exhibition. At last something nice over there, it's like those parks in China where they would mix up the colourful flowers to make a pattern. To be honest, those in China we 1000times nicer then this :D


Look at this cute blonde girl, playing water beside the pool, such a nice scenery I can't help but to snap a picture of her.
Don't call me pervert okay, it's just cute.

The Floral Enclave Exhibition is only a small part, the bigger part of the event is 'showing off' and selling flowers, which is at the outside of the Botanical Garden.
Botanical Garden is famous for garden, and ice-cream in roti. If you are a penangites you should know. Then I notice this stall, damn shock. Just look at the number of ice cream cones hanging across the stall, it's so shocking.

There are alot, a lot of stalls selling their flowers, and damn a lot showing off their 'weapon' lol! Some I must admit some of them are very very very rare and beautiful.


Only orchids there are already hundreds types of species over there, all with different shape, different colour, and they all looked so elegant. Damn cantik I tell you.

It's something that I am not gonna enclosed what I thought until someone says it first so, I'm daring you :)

Among all, the Champion of this floral fest (I elected on my own) is this pot of Fu Gui Hua.
The flowers blossoms like there are no tomorrow, the stem is tall enough, the leafs are so little you won't even get to see them, and the pinky colour is just suiting.

Nice nice! From top or bottom also nice!

I need to be rich

Just came back from my ah ma house's neighbour's son's house warming. LOL complicated ho!

Nevermind. What I want to say is the house, it's a 3-storey terrace house. Damn the house is so nicely decorated. I heard he spent 300k just on designing. That amount is enough to buy me 10 cars for my industrial training already, no need to be like now kena throw here and there. Sick.

Talk back about the house. The 3rd floor, there is this open-air garden, just like those actor brings the actress for a romantic dinner in TVB drama. It's so damn kool man!

All the bed rooms are decorated nicely. Too bad all the pictures I took turned out to be blur as a result of using night mode -.- Regret never bring my camera there liao. If we were to visit the house during afternoon then it's even better! I can use it to take all the picture nicely.

The toilet is elegant. Bathing is partitioned up so that water doesn't wets up the whole toilet. The light switch is synchronized with the exhaust fan, then your poo-poo smell won't be flowing IN the house.

Kitchen is divided into wet and dry ones. Garden with grass and a water wall to decorate part of the garden.

How I wish I could own a big and nice house like this. Okay mine doesn't need to be big but at least I would try my best to decorate it nicely.

You know, you need to be rich, very rich to enjoy this kind of life, have this kind of big house, big car.

From my point of view, don't rely on anyone, NOT even your own family, most of them tend to let you down. Yes down real deep. I say this because I am in some kind of deep shit now. :) Work hard.

After death

This morning went to Batu Gantung to cremate my ah ma's brother (What should I call him), so went out quite early.

After cremating, then my ah ma introduce me to all the uncles and aunties 'staying' over there, among all I only know a few =P cause I was in Melaka for four years already, so when many of them passes away during the 4 years time, can be understand that I don't know them mar.

Thinking what world does people go when they passed away? According to different religion, there are so many different places. Some says go up, some mention going down, some says not up not down, with us but different plane, Which should I believe oh?

I am a free thinker, no religion, so where would I end up?

Halo Cafe

Yesterday night, went to Queensbay Halo Cafe with Weimen, Qq and min.

At first went in, feel the speaker abit loud, cause the pitching is kinda high. After a while only my ear get used to the loud volume.

The cafe isn't very big, and the location wasn't nice. It's situated behind the shoplots and therefore nobody noticed this place. Qq and min didn't even know the existence of this cafe, they thought we are going to Autocity. If it wasn't my mum working around that area, I wouldn't have found out too.

2 guys was the singer for the night. Not bad, or should I say good. Throughout the whole night, they sang quite well. From XiShuaShau洗刷刷 to ZhuanShuTianShi专属天使, they sang out nicely!
Both of them knows how to play guitar, sang well, and one of them is a JJLIM alike! Hahaa maybe that's the reason the place is quite crowded on a Thursday night.
One major difference between Halo and the other cafes I've been is that the speaker settings in Halo is quite sharp that's why you could hear what they are talking, unlike the other cafes you can't really know what they are talking on stage. So, customer interaction - No.1 .
I didn't order any food there, Weimen and Qq said not bad. Drinks was quite nice, but slightly expensive. They even have cocktail over there. The pictures showed up nice, so not going to post up here. You might want to see pictures Erlynda took in Halo Cafe Autocity.

During breaktime, they even got this big screen showing Karaoke MTVs, so customers won't feel bored. This is something other cafes should learn from.

After the night, I pop straight on the bed with my tired body. Shoosh slept in seconds. :)

Well I think his latest production the BUG movie won't let us down though.

I've seen the trailer, and GOD IT'S SO DAMN NICE !! It's like those movies you tick on your Not-To-Miss list after you watch their trailer. The sypnosis of the movie is as so..

A Tele night!

So yesterday, ended my exam session, wrapped up my Delta year.

Know where is this about?
Wahaha a bunch of Tele gang went to have a gathering at Malim Steamboat. Sorry to those who we have missed out, especially Stephen, so paisehh! SORLI!

So, 22 4th year university students gathered, more then half of them are so eager to release all the god damn stress from the exam week. What to expect except to be the noisiest and the most happening table at the place.

Can be expected, more people means more waste. Yeah a lot of food brought to our table but not eaten, but luckily we got BIG Louis, he just wallup everything on the table la saving us up from being fine.
Our table can be the most noisiest table loh, cause got a bunch of mad people in our table. Undeniable, I am one of them.
Then this table would be the most efficient one. Ser as the big cook, distribute all the foods evenly.
They cooked a whole plate of meatballs (got about 50 pieces) plus I don't know what deep inside the pot! Then distribute to everyone fairly. This is what I call fairly consistent lol!

The most Gentleman, Gentlelady's table. Everyone seems so quiet and gentle. Hahaa it's a TOTAL contrast with our table. You can see that their table is the neatest among all.
Eat until bao bao liao, then take group photos lah of course.

The night doesn't end here, we continued at Red Square. If you still don't know, Melaka doesn't have Red Box, but only Red Square. This time with the amount of 19 person, we got outselves a BIG room! Oh yeah those with toilet inside.

I accepted!

I know, many of you have been craving for answer.

Yes I accepted the offer. (I can sense that my mum will be much relieved when she read this) Sorry to make you worry.

Upon accepting the offer, the girl have a talk with me for about 10 minutes. Asking me this and that, but not technical questions. I think she wants to see how I response on the questions, and whats my mindset. This is a kind of interview also right?

Though this employment isn't confirm yet. I will get to know my confirmation from our MMU group leader, which will be one month later. In the mean time, let me concentrate on my finals and my FYP.

Also, I wanna thank Jason, for offering much help on setting up my paypal account, teaching me this and that. He even drove all the way to my house just to collect forms from me, feel so paiseh troubling him only. Jason, sorry ya keep bugging you, bu hao yi si ahh =p But I still need your help, just abit more, until I can draw out CASH from my atm then thank you thank god adi hehee!

Burning my time

I came out 50 minutes earlier from the exam, because I finish answering the questions, and it's so blardy hot in the exam hall. I am sweating non stop since the minute I step into the exam hall, and my hands are aching so much as I write non stop for the paper.

Got a call from mummy, saying that she printed my previous rants post for my daddy to read. Lol wonder what's his reaction after he read it, or even he might find it wasting time reading at my rubbish.

Thanks for all the concern from my friends for my previous post, commenting on my blog or sending message to me, I appreciate it. Thanks alot! My world is definitely different without you all.

Tomorrow I shall need to give an answer to the company from Ipoh, still undecided yet. Grace told me it's a good company and I definitely hope to join and gain experience from them. On the other hand, my transport issue has yet to be settled. Sigh so fan. Hopefully they will call me as I know they called a lot of my friends, and they have been rejecting the offer -.-

When a Sweet News turns Bitter

I got a call from XXX company, asking me whether am I interested in working there for industrial training as they received my resume from MMU. The girl was nice enough to let me consider until this Friday before I give them my answer.

I have no problem with the company, but more to the location. It's in Ipoh. Seriously I have no idea how did get a place in Ipoh where the choices I put in my application was Penang(Bayan Lepas), Seberang Perai and Kedah(Kulim). How come end up in Ipoh, Perak one?!!

Nevermind. she said she called and ask for my opinion cause she doesn't want me to be unhappy while working with them. Aww so sweet..

Though she's sweet, but the problems still stays. The company is still in Ipoh! Oh god I hate Ipoh, and most Ipoh-ians do piss me off very often, one of them are staying with me for about 20 years already -.-

Actually I have already 70% decided to accept the offer already, until just now my dad says he's going to borrow a car from my uncle in Ipoh instead of buying me one.

GOD DAMN FUCK IT!

Please lah it's a blardy 3 months time and I really don't wish to borrow my uncle's car for months. Not that my uncle is rich, and he doesn't owns extra cars! I really didn't expect my dad to think that way, that's just pure selfish! Furthermore, it's another 4 months until I graduate and by that time I shall need my own car too!

Ughh! I just can't understand how he thinks!

Not that I want to say that my dad is unfair. My brother got his car when he is studying once he's in KL, and it's 4 and a half year later until I am suppose to get my own car for industrial training and he's still refusing to buy me a car.

WHAT'S THE PROBLEM?

Now my decision stays rejecting the offer. Hoping that MMU shall send me some other places like KL or Johor, anywhere I don't mind now. As long as my dad is forced to buy me a car I am satisfied. I am not childish, only desperate.

It's not that I don't need a car. I need a car, even in Melaka. I have been tolerating for four years without car and I think that I deserve a car at least for my industrial training.

Not to mention, my dad promise me a car when I was entering my university way back at 2003. Then for the first year he says that I need to live some tough life like any other students and I will only get my car on the second year. After the second year, he's been dragging here and there just refusing to buy me a car. Until now! I am fucking pissed already!

Please. Let me rant. I got exams tomorrow and now I blardy have no mood for the notes! Fucked up. So much of being duped by own father. Man I can deal with strangers but not my own dad! I just can't accept it lah!

That's why I so want to earn my own money. I was trained from small not to rely on people but ownself. I don't even wanna rely on my parents, emotionally or financially. I write paypost, registered on the adsense (screw it now) to earn some cash besides allowance from my parents. I know it's not possible to be independent on the financial case, but I still dream of it.

Bah, looked back I typed so long. Still, I am not happy, nor satisfied, and yes I am very fuckingly tulan right now.

Yeah I am talking about Charmed, again. Ignore this post if you don't like.

I was watching the 2nd last episode of season4, where Pheobe have to kill her precious husband Cole. Before Cole died, he said "Baby, I will always love you". It just hit my heart.

This sentence was with me in my life some time before, but not now, and I am definitely missing it. It's something you would like to hear from your loved ones, it's sweet and touching.

I don't mean to be emo, but being feeling that I am going to sick (Thanks to the bloody weather), I can't help but thinking more emotionally. Feel like a girl lol! Yes rant here rant there, wimping around and acting like an ass today.

Taking pills tonight, (lol emo took over me again!) okay it's panadol before I sleep, hope to feel better tomorrow morning at 8.30.

Hey folks!

Hehee I just got back from library.

News : Today's library is kinda empty, so if you are interested to pay MMU's library a visit, don't worry of the crowd cause there aren't any! Can concentrate fully without those peeples talking and laughing out loud!

Don't believe? See I got take pic. Really bo lang. Only me and that Indian guy. Seriously no bluf. Whole campus quiet till you can hear people pee in the toilet.

Though it's just short short de 3 hours in library, I read alot! Buahahaa later at night study again then kao tim for today. Wakakaka!

Kishi Masa

Yesterday went to try this Japanese Restaurant named Kishi Masa, (yah all the name weird weird 1 =P) again same row with WoknPan Restaurant.
Actually is the concept that attracted us. We initially thought that it's a teppanyaki style, where you could see them fry your dishes, but we were wrong.

We went in liao only notice that there were no pan there, only a wok with oil and a bbq stove behind the glass.
They passes us the menu, damn confusing, cause not every page and every item got english translation. -.-

The most weird thing is that they don't offer bento set or any normal set meals like other japanese restaurant, here you get to order your rice, and sticks seperately. The meats here are all in bbq sticks, where you can choose to be deep fried or bbq-ed.
We each ordered 3 sticks and different type of rice. This is what we order,
Chicken sand liver and chicken skin.

Chicken with cheese.

Deep fried tempura prawns and Bacon with cheese.

Japanese Plum rice.

BBq-ed rice with Japanese soya sauce.

Japanese rice with miso soup and the pickled thing (what do you call that?).

There's some more others that I've forgotten to take pictures of. Hahaa! and suprisingly, THEY TASTE SO GOOD! YES VERY GOOD!!

BUT !!!

Seriously, they are very slow. Imagine we looked at how they bbq-ed our order, so slow so slow, and we are so hungry. Gosh really very slow.

Then it's quite expensive also. Each stick causes RM3, and seriously 3 sticks and a plate of rice doesn't feel my stomach at all. -.-

The green tea is very bitter and it's not hot enough. Can say cold already.

Another thing I don't like is that they allow smoking IN the restaurant, damn I really don't like.

Going to Egypt

Woot woot! Tagged by BabyFiona, didn't really understand how the whole tag is running, but here it goes..

The place that I currently wanna visit is in Egypt. The Pyramids! You know I am those power-fanatic who always dream to have those super powers. That's why I liked shows like Heroes, Charmed, Smallville, X-man, Spiderman etcetc. Ok this seems not related to the pyramid but it is! I always think that pyramids aren't build by humans, instead by something erm, un-human. Though there are always proves that pyramids are built by humans, super accurate mathematicians, but I chose not to believe that. :D

All I want to do is have a look at this weird pyramids, statues with my OWN EYES, snap them in my camera, save it into my hardisk and maybe I might have the chance to prove the mystery of pyramids. Hahaa dreaming I am. Having to visit there, I would be wrap in those thick cloths so that won't be attacked by the Sandman Sand, like this?
So I know I won't be flying over to Egypt so soon, so I shall just stick to my Love Chess first okay :D

While reading back my Yomato Restaurant post, there's some thing to add on.

- The menu is cute. They draw it instead of taking real pictures.
- The beef I ordered, some are soft some are really hard.
- They serve free wheat tea instead of green tea. Yeah I liked wheat tea but not everyone can accept it.
- The waiter spilt the hot tea on me, kena my pants and my right arms. He said sorry and I forgive him. :)
- The restaurant serves buffet lunch with only RM13 with about 9 dishes. It's still worthwhile for me.

Yomato Restaurant

Okay pictures pictures you guys love the most one right? Hehee.

Yesterday I mentioned I went to Yomato restaurant ho. The shop is not big, but cosy enough for the customers as there were only 5 tables to fit 4 customers each. So don't worry about the crowd.

I ordered the Sukiyaki set, got beef, spring onion, beancurd, Abalone mushroom (or wadeva you call that)cook with japanese soya sauce, and the set comes with miso soup and dessert (ice-cream or fruits).Didn't really like it. Cause no spicy lor, I can't eat food without spiciness one!

Fenn ordered Chikinkatsudon, its actually deep fried chicken chop with egg sauce, quite nice lor I feel but she didn't like it.
Mapo ordered the Tempura Teishoku, a set of deep fried tempuras. Not nice. You know when you mention tempura you will imagine those crispy flour coating the prawns, but this tempura is not really those crispy type.
Then we ordered a set of Temaki Set.
What makes this so special is that you get to wrap the roll on your own! Take the nori sheet, spread the rice, put in a slice of crab stick, egg and cucumber and wrap it into cone shape!

Tadaah! My own self-wraped temaki! CANTIK TAK! :D
Though the food aren't as delicious as I expect them to be, but the price is really CHEAP! So, go try lar! Maybe you would like those real japanese taste food ba ;)

Labourless

Woot woot!

Finally got the chance to try the Japanese Restaurant which we have always wanted to try. It's called Yamato, same row with WoknPan Restaurant. So you should know where right? We had dinner there just now.

The restaurant is owned by pure Japanese, selling at a price which I would say it's quite cheap. The price is around RM5-8. Nowadays where you can find japanese food at this price. But then, the food is SO Japanese, not localise one, so it didn't suit my tastebud actually, but I would recommend to those who liked REAL and PURE japanese food.

After dinner, we went Xuan cafe lor of course. Great singing by MJ, Xuan and Sugaa. So blardy like them lah, so got standard you know. But damn tulan when someone keep on hitting on my face. I REALLY TULAN OKAY WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO DO ANYTHING TO/ON MY FACE!! (except kissing), so if you are not intending to kiss my oily, fugly, rough, pimple-sy face, GET LOST from my face please. Other then that, everything was SUPER nice and I was super enjoying chit chating and laughing with my 2 good friends.

Third stop, yamcha with Nick at Infasha. Halfway strong wind blow the trees until it sounded so scary. It's like a twister gonna reach us lol! So quickly finish eating then leave. FAT ARHH!

Back at home, do my lab report until now loh. It's 4.25am lor so don't expect me to edit those pictures k. Will edit it tomorrow, or day after, or whenever I am free lah Hahaaa.

So, Sleep lor still got what. Nothing to report already what, you think go toilet pee also need to mention meh. Siao.

No class tomorrow, so is Wednesday. This makes me feels like tonight is Friday night. No wonder I kept feeling hollow.

Yes basically when I am at home, late night, I felt that. Someone will keep pop into my mind, I can't get you out of me. Tell me, what can I do so that you could leave me!? TELL ME!

Mum forgotten to pay my phone bills, can't call my friends to talk. Feel like being grounded -.- Damn I need someone to talk to!!!!!

Fine. Tomorrow and the day after is free, but there is 1 assignment to submit and a lab report to be submitted on Thursday, plus, a presentation to prepare on this Saturday. Could I be free?

Nevermind, Mapo's back tomorrow. She told me to burn the Prison Break Season2 for her sister, which will drop by tomorrow just to collect the dvd, then zoooooom drive back to KL. Tomorrow night, going Xuan I guess. Wonder how many lalats will join =P I think I need to list out the names and pictures some other time, if not you won't know who I am mentioning. All these in the later post.

Words words, and words. I wonder how many people are willing to read all this bullshits I've written, but I don't care, this is my diary, I have the choice to write whatever I want right?
